40. Savage Opress
Darth Maul's older brother, Savage Opress was a Nightbrother who lived in the planet Dathomir under the servitude of Mother Talzin and the Nightsisters. Asajj Ventress selected Savage in order to have him serve as Count Dooku's apprentice, only to be in service of the Nightsisters. After his failed confrontation with Dooku, he left to Mother Talzin's. She entrusted him to go and find his thought to be dead, brother, Darth Maul. After finding him, restoring him to his former self with Talzin, and going off with Maul forming an underworld criminal empire, the self proclaimed Sith apprentice to Darth Maul died at the hands of the evil Darth Sidious. He regretted to have never been Maul's equal.
39. Admiral Ackbar
Ackbar was originally captain of the Mon Calamari Guard during the Clone Wars. He later served the Rebel Alliance as the Admiral of the Rebel cruiser assault during the Battle of Endor. Ackbar was a symbol of the rest of the galaxy that the Alliance is fighting for everyone, no matter their background or origin. His line ''It's a trap!'' Is one of the most famous in Star Wars history.
38. Nute Gunray
Nute Gunray had the unfortunate fate of being the puppet master behind many of Darth Sidious's schemes, including in them the Trade Federation blockade of the planet Naboo. After his capture, he stood for trials in the Supreme Court of the Republic, and due to it's corruption, he still kept being the viceroy of the Federation. He joined the Separatists in order to help build the Separatist Army, and would only join on the condition that Queen Amidala's head laid in his desk. Gunray stays as part of Sidious's schemes until their is no more use of him, and he is murdered by Darth Vader on the planet Mustafar.
37. Bail Organa
Bail Organa, Senator of Alderaan, was a politician who shared many of the same values and concerns as Mon Mothma and Padme Amidala. He became suspicious of Palpatine as the war came closer and closer to an end, and came to end up allying himself with the Jedi, saving those who faced execution during Order 66, such as Obi-Wan and Yoda. He later adopted Leia, and for the next 19 years, waited patiently to the right moment to start the Rebel Alliance and make her daughter a prominent member of the Alliance. He sadly dies when Alderaan is blown up in Episode IV by the Death Star.
36. Pre Vizsla
Pre Vizsla was the leader of the Mandalorian terrorist organization, Death Watch. Voiced by the great Jon Favreau, Vizsla, as Governor of the Concordia Moon, hopes to see the day in which he overthrows Duchess Satine and returns Mandalore to it's ancient warrior-like ways. He allies with Count Dooku in a plot that would force the Republic to occupy Mandalore, which would make Death Watch look like heroes, and would make an alliance with the Separatists. With the help of Obi-Wan Kenobi, the whole plan got blown off. Vizsla left being an enemy of Dooku, and is forced to exile with Death Watch into Carlac. Vizsla only manages to take control of Mandalore after an uneasy alliance with Darth Maul, which ends up costing his life.
35. Ki-Adi Mundi
Ki-Adi Mundi was one of the most orthodox members of the Jedi Council, along with Mace Windu. Mundi had the distinct priviledge of training under Master Yoda, which surely led to his incredible force talents. He led several campaigns during the Clone Wars against the Separatists, and was shot down on Mygeeto during the release of Order 66.
34. Bo-Katan
Bo-Katan was the first time we were introduced on-screen to a female character who wore Mandalorian  armor. Sister to the ruler of Mandalore, Duchess Satine, she seems to be the complete atithesis of her, as she joined the Mandalorian splinter group Death Watch under Pre Vizsla. Her full backstory is set to be released at some point. We know that in the Clone Wars she was part of the Shadow Collective, a cirminal underworld empire led by Death Watch and the Sith Brothers, Darth Maul and Savage Opress. As Darth Maul defeated Vizsla in combat and declared himself ruler of Mandalore and leader of Death Watch, Bo-Katan refused to bow pledge to the Sith, and instead wanted to remain true to her people. She reconciles with her sister in order to free the planet, and makes an alliance with Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi. Perhaps one of the most interesting and best characters introduced in the Clone Wars.
33. Shmi Skywalker
The mother of Anakin Skywalker, and grandmother of Luke and Leia, Shmi Skywalker was a hard-working woman and loving mother who lived a hard life as a slave and later became a moisture farmer, marrying Cliegg Lars. Shmi was later captured by the Tusken Raiders and died at the hands of his son, Anakin Skywalker. Her death was an influence in Anakin's descent towards the dark side.
32. Mother Talzin
A mysterious shaman witch and head of the Nightsisters, Mother Talzin was an influential mastermind in the events that took in the Clone Wars. She was responsible for the rise of Savage Opress, using him at first as a tool to enact vengeance on Dooku. She later assigned him to find his long lost and presumed dead brother, Darth Maul. She was responsible for restoring Darth Maul into his sane form, before disappearing into the oblivion. Her use of dark magicks, and her revival of Maul for still unkown reasons, make her the most mysterious Star Wars character since Palpatine.
31. Daughter
The Mortis trilogy in the middle of season 3 of the Clone Wars was perhaps the most bold and innovative move George Lucas ever made since the release of A New Hope in 1977. This arc introduced us to the strange world of Mortis, a place where a group of powerful god-like beings manipulated the Force like no other. The Daughter was the representation of the light side of the Force. She was very much the personification of the light side, and looked to prevent her brother, the Son, from seducing Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, into the dark side.
